I’m Jaakko or kzzh, and I write fantasy stories and edit them. My own stories have twisted timelines, moral and magical dilemmas, and both dark and healing themes.
Author
My flagship story is THE ACADEMY, a progression fantasy situated in a necromancer academy, now being serialized on Royal Road with over 2000 followers. I’m especially proud of my character work: natural dialogue, character authenticity, grounded physicality.
Editor
My journey as an editor started on Scribophile editing literary fiction before moving into line and developmental editing for LitRPG and Progression Fantasy writers. I believe in clean writing that trusts the reader — good writing should feel effortless even when it isn’t. I work with authors to strengthen themes, tune the pacing, and improve the prose. I’ll walk with you to sharpen your book, but the work always stays yours.

I live in northern Finland, where the winters are long and the coffee is strong. I’m an avid reader and when I’m not reading progression fantasy I enjoy the classics, new weird and literary fiction. I’m also a trained baritone and live with my two wonderful children.
